Our portable appliance testing pricing structure is outlined below.

The prices quoted below are current to 2008 and we foresee NO likely increases in those prices, we will also 'freeze' the price for repeat clients. We have compared the market ourselves and continue to do so, we believe our prices to be realistic, highly competitive and represent excellent value for the service.

Our minimum charge for onsite portable appliance testing is just £40.00 ex.VAT offering great value for a low quantity of appliances or equipment. This minimum site charge covers around 18 appliances....

When comparing our prices, please remember that our prices are inclusive of rewiring and replacing plugs or changing fuses. For clients within the County of Warwickshire (and Coventry) we do not charge mileage, unlike a lot of other local and national PAT testing businesses. For quotes outside of Warwickshire mileage costs will be quoted for.

We are often able to offer a discount for local charities and volunteer organisations, please let us know at the time of the quotation request.

Microwave Oven Radio Frequency Emission Level Testing

Microwave Ovens require periodic testing using specialist test equipment to ensure the radio frequency emissions are below the accepted legal limit, 5mW/sq cm when measured at a distance of 50mm or more from the exterior surface of the appliance under test. The microwave emission testing takes place alongside your Portable Appliance Testing. This applies to both Domestic Microwaves Ovens (BS EN 60335-2-25) and Commercial/Industrial Microwave Ovens (BS EN 60335-2-90).

Testing of the unit involves measurement of the radiation levels around the oven using microwave testing equipment to ensure compliance with legal emission limit. The safety interlock switches and the door seals are inspected for any signs of damage to ensure that they function correctly and safety.

Microwave Oven Radio Frequency Emission Level Testing is charged at a rate of £3.50 ex.VAT per microwave, this price rate includes the Portable Appliance Testing.

Pre-Paid PAT Testing Packages....

For clients in the Warwickshire & Coventry area, a hassle-free way to organise your Portable Appliance Testing. Ideal for the small business, self-employed service providers, Property Landlords, Live-in Staff (eg. hotels), even domestic properties which are becoming more common in a world of increased safety consciousness.

These packages provide the same services, Portfolio of PAT Testing, replacement fuses, plug replacements (13amp type, as required) or rewires, Free Plugin RCD Inspection and Electrical Testing. An invoice and receipt of payment will be delivered with the Portfolio of Portable Appliance Testing. Prices shown inclusive of VAT at 17.5% and a VAT receipt will be sent separate.

Once we receive your Pre-Paid PAT Testing Package order we will contact you with regards to organising your on-site testing at a date and time convenient to you. On the payment processing page you will have the option to include further details or particular requirements with regards to your testing. Please ensure your business address and details are included.
